This past weekend was an important event for taekwondo. Many competitors from around the country came together for the USA Taekwondo Team Trials. This tournament is held to determine who will become members of the official USA Taekwondo Team who will travel for international events against other countries. We are very proud of our own Team Elite USA members who attempted to test their skills against the best the country has to offer.
We would like everyone to congratulate our members who attended this event in the hopes of joining this prestigious group: Eric Chua, Evelyn You, and Kaylee Yoshida. All three performed admirably and we are very proud of their hard work and determination.
Kaylee won a spot on the team and Eric is on the team as first alternate so we look forward to seeing them represent our country in the upcoming World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship held in Hong Kong this Year.
