Being part of Team Elite USA entails participating in various tournaments, regardless of their scale or significance. Engaging in these events offers valuable experience for all students. Some tournaments can be attended by all, while others are only for students who are a part of our competition team. To determine which tournament works best for our students, we have three basic categories for tournament participation: “All Elite Students,” “Team Elite Friday,” and “Team Elite USA.”Tournaments that are under “All Elite Students” are events that any student from our studio can compete in. Tournaments under the “Team Elite Friday” category are only for students who are a part of our Team Elite Friday competition group but students in the Team Elite USA group can also participate in these events. Tournaments that are under “Team Elite USA” will only be for students in the Team Elite USA group. These are usually national or international level competitions, so a lot of experience is needed to prepare for these events. As students train in the studio and participate in tournaments their skills and abilities will improve and some students will eventually be able to move up to higher-level teams which allow them to compete in higher-level events.
